Love Little Dragon
愛小龍
Born 27th November 1940 as Lee Jun Fan (李 振 藩), also popularly known by his Chinese screen name Li Xiaolong (李 小 龍) meaning Little Dragon. Bruce Lee’s life was tragically cut short on 20th July 1973; but still his legacy continues as the greatest icon of martial arts, even into our modern internet media world. Bruce’s first screen capture was as a 5-year old in The Birth of Mankind, but his most famous big screen roles were in The Big Boss (1971), Fist of Fury (1972), Way of the Dragon (1972) and Enter the Dragon (1973). Yip Man was the famous Wing Chun master that taught Bruce Lee during his teenage years in Hong Kong. Bruce also developed his own martial art style called Jeet Kune Do (Way of the Intercepting Fist) based around the spiritual essence of his personal martial arts philosophy. And just as Muhammad Ali has entered the pantheon of greatness that transcends his sport of boxing, so Bruce Lee has been equally elevated to an idol status around the world.
